January 2010- Heidi – (AKA Louisie Lou)
Louisie Lou has now been collected to spend the rest of her life happy life with her new family in place called Rossendale on the outskirts of Manchester in the UK.
Mum (Wendy) has promised that they will keep us up to date and send pictures as much as possible, although she is not great with computers and will be asking her family to help out with sending pictures.
Great News Everyone – We have a few new pictures of Heidi – (AKA Louisie Lou) – She has settled down really well, loves to be out wlaking on the lead in the countryside. No more messing in the house now, love all her new teddies and is becoming very devoted to Wendy. She thought there might be problems at first because it appears the Louisie Lou wasn’t settling without her Brothers and Sisters around her. She is also now becoming less dependent on perm loving and attention, but that may have been my fault for having paid her so much attention as a baby.
Well its coming upto Xmas 2014 and as always Lea is the focus of my attention. Christmas eve was the start of our celebrations here at Rotty Ranch. Our celebrations simply started with Leas first outfit. A miniature hat and collar with bells for our baby girl.
As always with Lea, she just wanted to play or perhaps even help whilst we were wrapping presents, with wrapping paper and boxes all over the lounge, she was in her element. 🙂 Even the wrapping paper tubes didn’t escape.
It wasn’t long before Midnight hit and Lea’s best friend, Doggie Santa, dropped by and left all the presents to be shared out on Christmas day. At this point, her little Miss Protective Mode seemed to kick in and she just stood there protecting the stack of gifts. 🙂 This was especially good for her Auntie Ashleigh as half the gifts were for her, but not convinced Lea actually realised this. Think poor Lea was convinced they were all hers, but knowing Lea, she would have been more than happy to share with her Auntie Ashleigh in the morning.
So by the time we had sorted everything out, it was like 2am in the morning and time for Lea to get some sleep before her exciting day of Christmas 2014. The night just seemed to fly by, and as always on Christmas Eve, Lea got to sleep in the master bedroom once we had finally convinced her the gifts were not going anywhere. Took a little convincing as she just did not seem to want to leave her presents, but eventually she came her bed and snored herself to sleep. Shame about me though, with her snoring away, hardly managed to get any sleep. 😉
Before we knew, Christmas Day was here and Lea was bouncing all over the place. Getting all the gifts into the Santa Mobile was not exactly an easy task as Lea insisted she accompanied me with every trip to and from the from the motor. Just a good job it was like 6am in the morning, very few people around. Within half an hour or so of tripping over Lea, we finally had the car loaded up and it was time for Lea to do her Santa trip over to her Auntie Ashleighs house. Although Auntie Ashleigh didn’t actually know we were dropping by with her gifts. Lea took up her passengers seat as always and adorned her latest outfit for this year. 🙂
Within no time we arrived at Auntie Ashleighs, and being so early in the morning, Ashleigh wasn’t exactly ready for us to appear. In her slouch PJ’s and lacking make up, we had seriously caught her out. But Lea loved every minute of it as she bounced all over her Auntie Ashleigh. So as always Ashleigh put the kettle on for me, as seriously needed an extra caffeine hit being so early, (well that was my excuse anyway) 😉 .
The car was soon unloaded and Both Lea and Ashleigh looked at the pile of gifts wondering where to start, so as always they took turns in opening their gifts. Well that is after Ashleigh and her Boy Friend Robert had opened one each, (Robert was off to work within a few minutes so it was only fair for him as well).
So next came our Lea’s turn to open her gifts, as always not sure which one she should start with Auntie Ashleigh decided to help out. Somehow Lea managed to pick out the best smelling ones first, with all the Christmas Doggie treats wrapped up. Then came the good Christmas toys that we all know last longer than the treats presents.
